Street Art Redux - Chelsea White Space #streetart

Fans of street art should check out this white space   EXHIBIT   in Chelsea on 8th and 22nd.  This emaciated woman wearing a Campbell Soup dress was the one that caught my eye.

Coco Chanel Vs. Haculla #streetart

On Thanksgiving Eve, I was walking the streets of Soho heading to the club (isn't that what normal newyorkers do?) I came across a Haculla piece... Coco Chanel Vs Haculla.  Apparently Haculla has been providing New York with his visual street art for years and is easily recognizable by his  EDGY  commentaries and wheat - paste medium.  This particular piece of mynewyork that I'm sharing with you is on the doors of 214 Lafayette just below Spring.  (newyorkers don't say street or avenue... if you didn't know that, consider this a friendly PSA).

Scary Lady On 14th Street In The East Village

One of the myriad of things that I love about ournewyork is the never ending art scene.  You really never know where something will pop up... kinda like the Scary Lady in Red in front of a church on 14th Street.  
I was walking around minding my own business when I noticed her in the distance. I thought it was for a photoshoot but it wasn't... she was just standing there - motionless except the subtle heaving of her chest as she breathed.
