In this mythical city called New York of over 8,000,000 wandering souls, this tiny corner of the vast tangled world wide web we weave will share my New York via my eyes. You are also encouraged to share your photographs should you so please because after all, mynewyork is also yournewyork and i'm sure you love ournewyork as much as I do. -Citizen NYC

An End To Another Gritty NYC Institution
So it has come to pass that luck has run out at the Winners' Circle. As of this past Tuesday, all New York City OTB locations have been shuttered. Off Track Betting have often been the butt of jokes in NYC with their less than savory branches.
OTB patrons by and large are mostly middle aged men who spend copious amounts of time, and money, to the point that you would think these locations were homeless shelter. This newyorker had the unpleasant opportunity of working next to one in midtown on 7th Avenue and I often confused their customers with beggars and panhandlers.
OTB closed in NYC? I'll drink to that.
